Moving The Peoples Temple
In the 1960s Jones moved The Peoples Temple to Northern California, where the amout of his followers increased. Due to Jones' paranoia that the government was after him, he moved The Peoples Temple and all of it's followers to Guyana South America.
The Peoples Temple was founded in 1956 by Jim Jones. He believed in a integrated church. Him and his followers focused on helping people in the community.

In order to attract more followers, Jim Jones staged "healing ceremonies".
